Dan and Bianca started dancing together back in 2005. For several years they competed in national and International ballroom competition. Some of their most remarkable results are National Formation Champions in 2005, National 10 Dance Finalists in 2011 and 2012 and Runners Up at the National Showdance Championship in 2013.
During this period they’ve founded their own dance school, Total Dance Bucharest, where they trained children and teenagers to be competitive ballroom dancers. In 2011 they got certified as coaches and judges by the Romanian Dancesport Federation.
One year later, they decided it was time to drop the competitions and become more creative, so they started their career in entertainment.
In the early spring of 2012 they had their first cruise ship contract in the Baltic Sea on a Tallink Siljia Line ship. This was only the beginning. A Costa Crociere contract followed up, that took them and four other colleagues around Asia, all the way to Australia and New Zealand.
Their trip around the world inspired them, and one country in particular, India. This is why, upon returning Romania, they entered the National Showdance Championship with a number on “The Life of Pi” Sountrack, a movie that takes place obviously in India.
They had about a year and a half break from cruise ships, during which they continued to train and created their very own production company, SCENÁ Showdance. This project took them all the way to the Maldives, at one of the most select resorts Dusit Thani Maldives.
Also during this break they starred in a local musical “Do You Know What I’ve Done in America?” as the only dancers in the show.
2015 was a great year, bringing them three back to back cruise ship contracts. They started on Aegean Odyssey, as the first ever dancers to be hired by the company. The ship sailed around Asia, from Sri Lanka to Vietnam.
This was followed by a contract on the first ever Chinese cruise ship, Skysea Golden Era, where they’ve been part of the inaugural cast, as featured ballroom couple. After two weeks of rehearsals they had seven months of contract in the South China Sea, between Shanghai, South Korea and Japan.
New Year’s Eve caught them again on Aegean Odyssey, that took them this time to beautiful South Africa and South-East Asia. They’ve performed together with artists from Argentina, USA and Great Britain for the less than 300 passengers of this exclusive ship.
In the autumn of 2016 they started working for Princess Cruises. One month of rehearsals in LA was followed by a triple contract on the Caribbean, Sapphire and Diamond, taking them to the Caribbean Sea, Taiwan and Japan, Australia and New Zealand, places so far away they thought they had been lucky see them once. Well they went back for the third time with the Sun Princess, their last contract as production cast dancers.
2019 was a turning point in their career as they produced their very own shows and became guest entertainers. Ever since they’ve been cruising the seven seas, working for various cruise lines such as Princess, Oceania, NCL, Silverseas, Regent or Jalesh, spreading their passion for dance on stage and in their fun dance classes.
